UVDTF Instructions (Decals for Hard Surfaces)

Step 1: Prepare the Surface

Clean the Surface:

Use a lint-free cloth to wipe away dust, dirt, or oils from the target surface.

Ensure the surface is dry and free of residues to improve adhesion.

Smooth the Surface:

Ensure no bumps, dents, or imperfections on the surface where the transfer will be applied.

Step 2: Prepare the UV DTF Transfer

Rub the design:

Firmly rub the top of the transfer to ensure the design is stuck to the top film

Peel the Backing Film:

Carefully peel off the backing layer from the UV DTF film, leaving the adhesive design exposed.

Position the Transfer:

Align the design onto the target surface.

Ensure it is positioned exactly where you want the final print.

Step 3: Apply the Transfer

Place the Transfer on the Surface:

Lay the adhesive side of the film onto the surface.

Smooth It Out:

Use a squeegee or scraper to press the transfer firmly onto the surface.

Start at the centre and work outward to eliminate bubbles or wrinkles.

Check the edges of the transfer to ensure the entire design is cured and adhered properly. If the transfer is not adhered to your item then place the decal back down and keep applying pressure.

Step 5: Remove the Top Film

Peel Off the Top Layer:

Once fully cured, slowly peel off the top protective film, leaving the design adhered to the surface. If the top layer is not removed slowly you may tear the transfer in the process.

Tips for Best Results:

Work in a clean, dust-free environment to avoid imperfections.

Please note this is not suitable to extremely curved surfaces.
