Vinyl Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Surface

Clean the Surface:
Use a cleaning solution and a lint-free cloth to remove dirt, grease, and dust. Let the surface dry completely.
Tip: Avoid cleaning with ammonia-based products, as they can leave a residue that affects adhesion.

Ensure Smoothness:
If the surface has bumps; Vinyl adheres best to smooth, flat surfaces.

Step 2: Apply the Vinyl

Peel the Backing:
Gently peel the backing paper away from the vinyl, leaving the adhesive side exposed. Work slowly to avoid ripping or creasing.

Apply the Vinyl:
Start from one edge (e.g., top or side) and carefully press the vinyl onto the surface. Use your hand or squeegee to smooth it as you go.
Tip: Work in small sections to avoid bubbles.

Remove Air Bubbles:
Use a felt squeegee or fingers to gently smooth the vinyl from the centre outward, pressing firmly to remove air bubbles.
